Connect An Instagram Account With Facebook Page
You can connect your Instagram account to Statusbrew directly, but linking it to a Facebook Page first unlocks the full feature set. This article walks you through setting up that connection at the Meta level.
Why Link Instagram to a Facebook Page?
Statusbrew offers two ways to connect your Instagram account: Login via Instagram and Login via Facebook. Both work, but the Facebook method unlocks features that Instagram alone doesn't support: Hashtag Monitoring, Competitor Analysis, Product Tagging, and Collab Posts.
To use the Login via Facebook method, your Instagram account must first be linked to a Facebook Page at the Meta level. That's what this article covers.
If you only need basic Instagram access in Statusbrew, you can skip this and connect directly via Login via Instagram.
Before You Start
Three things must be in place before you begin:
You must have a Facebook Page. If you don't have one, refer to Facebook's guide on creating a Page.
You must have Admin access to that Facebook Page. If you don't, ask a current admin to grant you access.
Your Instagram profile must be a Professional account (Business or Creator). Refer to our article on Change Instagram Profile Type to convert a personal account.
Connect via Facebook
(Applicable for both Mobile and Desktop)
Login to Facebook.
Open the Facebook Page you want to connect.
Depending on your device:
Desktop: Click
Profile iconMobile: Click the Menu icon (top-right corner).
Go to
Settings and privacy>Settings.In the search bar, type "Linked accounts" and open the page.
Click
Instagram>Connect Account.In the pop-up dialog, click
Connect>Continue.A new window will open. Login to your Instagram profile.
After logging in, click
Continuein "Adding to your business portfolio" dialog.Click
Done.
Now, your Instagram page is ready to be connected to Statusbrew (see how to)!
Connect via Instagram
(Supported only on the Instagram Mobile App)
Open Instagram app and goto your profile.
Tap
Edit Profile.Depending on your profile type:
Business Profile: Navigate to
Public Business Information.Creator Profile: Navigate to
Profile Information.
Tap
Page(Connect or create)>Continue.Tap
Login to Facebook.Complete the login process.
Select the Facebook Page you want to connect and tap
Connect.If you don’t have one, tap
Create a new Facebook Pageand follow the setup steps.

Open the Instagram mobile app.
Go to your Profile.
Tap
Edit Profile.Depending on your profile type:
Business Profile: Navigate to
Public Business Information.Creator Profile: Navigate to
Profile Information.

Do I Need a Facebook Page to Use Instagram With Statusbrew?
No, it's not required. You can connect your Instagram account to Statusbrew using the Login via Instagram method without a Facebook Page. However, linking to a Facebook Page and using the Login via Facebook method unlocks additional features: Hashtag Monitoring, Competitor Analysis, Product Tagging, and Collab Posts. We recommend the Facebook method for full access.
What Type of Instagram Account Can Be Connected?
Only Professional accounts (Business or Creator) can be linked to a Facebook Page. Personal accounts cannot. Refer to our article on Change Instagram Profile Type to convert yours.
What Admin Level Do I Need on the Facebook Page?
You need Admin access to the Facebook Page. Viewer or Editor roles are not sufficient for the connection to work.
Can I Link One Instagram Account to Multiple Facebook Pages?
No. One Instagram account can only be linked to one Facebook Page at a time, and one Facebook Page can only be linked to one Instagram account.
I Completed the Steps, but No Facebook Page Appeared in Instagram. What Should I Do?
Make sure you're logged in to the correct Facebook account, the one with Admin access to the Page. If the Page still doesn't appear, check your Page access level in Facebook's Business Manager.
My Page Appears on Instagram but Has No Profile Photo. Is That the Right One?
Probably not. A Page with no profile photo is likely one that Instagram auto-created during a previous profile conversion. Connect to a Page that has a profile photo and belongs to your business.
I Connected via Instagram, but Some Statusbrew Features Aren't Working.
If you connected Instagram to Statusbrew via Login via Instagram (not Login via Facebook), features such as Hashtag Monitoring, Competitor Analysis, Product Tagging, and Collab Posts won't work. Reconnect to Statusbrew using the Login via Facebook method to unlock all features.
Can I Verify the Connection From Facebook Instead of Instagram?
Yes. Go to your Facebook Page → Settings → Linked accounts → Instagram. If an account is shown, the link is active.
