Connect Social Profiles

Connecting your social profiles to Statusbrew is the first step to simplifying social media management. Instead of signing in to each account separately, manage all your accounts from one place with Statusbrew.

Your plan type determines how many profiles you can connect. See plan details and pricing here.

If you hit your profile limit and don't want to upgrade, remove an existing profile to add a new one.

Note: LinkedIn lets you manage both personal profiles and Pages. In Statusbrew, each profile or Page is treated as a separate social account.

Refer to our article on What Social Profiles Can I Connect to Statusbrew? to learn the profile types supported by Statusbrew, and each counts toward your profile limit.

Tip: Log out of your personal profiles on networks like X or Instagram before adding your company profiles to Statusbrew to avoid connecting the wrong account.

Primary Owner, Owners, and Admins can connect a social profile to Statusbrew.

A social profile can only be connected to one organization, but can be shared across multiple users.

FAQs

What Happens If The User Who Connected The Account Leaves?

If the user who originally connected the profile leaves the social network’s organization/list of admins (Meta Business Suite or a LinkedIn Page), the profile will be automatically disconnected from Statusbrew.

Another admin can reconnect the profile using their own account. Once reconnected, the profile will function as expected.

Why Can't I Add a Profile or Connect Any Social Accounts?

Only Primary Owners, Owners, and Admins can connect social profiles to Statusbrew. If you don't have one of these roles, the option to add profiles will not be available to you.

Ask your Primary Owner or Admin to either connect the profile on your behalf or update your role. Refer to our article on Access Permissions to learn more about roles in Statusbrew.

Also, only a user with Owner/admin access of that social account (Facebook) will be able to connect the profiles.

If you have the correct role but the connection (pop-up) still doesn't open, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, switching to Chrome or Firefox, try on private window (incognito window), or checking that your browser allows redirects from space.statusbrew.com under its pop-up and redirect settings. Still, this occures, please contact Statusbrew support.

Why Does Statusbrew Say This Profile Is Already Connected?

This means the social profile is already connected to Statusbrew in another Space or Organization.

This can happen if someone on your team previously tried Statusbrew and connected the same profile to a different account, space, or organization.

A social profile can’t be connected again until it is removed from the account where it is currently connected.

To fix this, the profile needs to be removed from the other Statusbrew account first. After that, you will be able to connect it to your current Space.

If you don’t know where the profile is connected, contact the Statusbrew team in this chat, and we'll help locate and remove the existing connection.

Why can’t I add a profile even though it appears in the connection window?

This usually happens when you have reached the profile limit on your current plan.

If the connection screen shows a message like this, for example:

“You’re using 14 of 14 profiles available on your current plan”

It means all profile slots in your plan are already in use. You may still see more Facebook Pages or social profiles in the connection window because Statusbrew can detect them from your native account, but you cannot add them until a profile slot is available.

To add the profile, you can either:

Remove an existing connected profile from Settings > Profiles, then connect the new one.

Or contact Statusbrew support to increase the number of profiles available in your plan.

If you have not reached your plan’s profile limit and the page still does not appear, then it may be a Facebook permission or authorization issue. In that case, reconnect Facebook or contact support for help.

You can contact support by saying “human please” or “talk to agent” in the chat.
