Create And Manage Profile Groups
Group your connected social profiles into profile groups in Statusbrew, so you can give access, schedule posts and filter Engage and Reports for many profiles at once.
Profile groups are collections of the social profiles you have connected to Statusbrew. Group them by anything they share, such as brand, region or purpose. A profile can be part of multiple profile groups.
For example, create a Corporate group for your main brand profiles. When you need to post an update everywhere, pick the Corporate group in Compose instead of choosing each profile.
Who Can Do This?
Only Primary Owners, Owners and Admins can create and edit profile groups.
How many profile groups your organization can have depends on your plan: Free 5, Lite 20, Standard 50, Premium 200 and Enterprise 500.

Ways to set up profile groups:
By team or department: for example Marketing or Customer Support
By language or region: one group per country or language for your local teams
By client: if you are an agency, one group per client
Create A Profile Group
Go to Settings → Profile groups → Create profile group
Enter a Name. Click the icon next to the name to pick an icon
Add a Description if you like (up to 255 characters)
Under Profiles, pick the profiles to add, or search by name. Use Select all to add every profile
Under Permissions, click Add permission, pick a permission and add the users or user groups who get it
Open Additional options and pick Watchers. Watchers get reminders when a profile in the group needs to be reauthenticated or is missing permissions

Add A Profile To A Group From The Profile
You can also add a profile to a profile group when you connect it, or by editing it:
Go to Settings → Profiles
Click More (three dots) beside the profile → Edit
Pick the groups in Profile groups and click Update
Manage Or Delete A Profile Group
Go to Settings → Profile groups
Click More (three dots) beside the group → Edit
Change the icon, name, description, profiles (click X next to a profile to remove it), permissions or watchers
Click Update
To delete the group, click More (three dots) → Delete
Deleting a profile group cannot be undone.
What Happens After
The group shows in Settings → Profile groups with the number of profiles it includes
Everyone you gave a permission to gets that access on every profile in the group, including profiles you add later
If you delete a group, scheduled posts stay in place, because posts are scheduled to profiles, not groups
FAQs
How Many Profile Groups Can I Create?
It depends on your plan. Free includes 5 profile groups, Lite 20, Standard 50, Premium 200 and Enterprise 500. The limit counts every profile group in your organization, across all spaces. No organization can have more than 500 profile groups.
What Happens When I Reach My Profile Group Limit?
You can't create another profile group. If your plan limit is lower than 500, Statusbrew shows an upgrade prompt. At 500 groups you see a message to contact support. You can also delete groups you no longer use.
My Organization Already Has More Profile Groups Than My Plan Allows. What Happens?
Nothing is removed. Your existing groups keep working, but you can't create a new one until you are below your plan's limit or you upgrade.
Can A Profile Be In More Than One Profile Group?
Yes. A profile can be part of multiple profile groups. Users get the permissions from every group the profile is in.
How Do I Give A User Access To Only Some Profiles?
Create a profile group with just those profiles and give the user a permission on that group. If you want their access to come only from the group, also remove them from those profiles' own permissions.
Do I Need Separate Organizations For My Inbox Team And My Publishing Team?
No. Give your inbox team Engage permissions and your publishing team Publish permissions on the relevant profile groups. Publish and Reports stay visible in the left menu for every user, but users can only act on the profiles they have permission for.
What Happens To Scheduled Posts If I Delete A Profile Group?
They stay scheduled. Posts are scheduled to profiles, not to groups, so deleting a group doesn't change them.
What Are Watchers?
Watchers are users who get reminder notifications when a profile in the group needs to be reauthenticated or is missing permissions. Add them under Additional options when you create or edit the group.
