Statusbrew Engage lets you reply to incoming conversations from Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and more; all from one inbox.
How To Reply To A Conversation?
To respond to a conversation in Engage:
From the conversation list, open the conversation you want to respond to.
Type your response in the reply box at the bottom.
Click Reply to send, or Reply & Close to send and close the conversation at the same time.
How To Mention Someone In A Facebook, Instagram, Or LinkedIn Reply?
When replying to a Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn comment, a Select users to mention picker appears above the reply box. Click it and select the user you want to mention. Statusbrew sends the reply with the mention included on the platform.
The mention does not appear as an @handle in the Statusbrew reply box, it is included in the reply when posted to the network.
Typing @ directly in the reply box does not mention anyone on any network. Always use the Select users to mention picker to mention a user.
The Select users to mention picker is available for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn only. Other networks do not support mentioning users in replies due to API limitations.
How To Mention Someone In An X Reply Or Mention?
For X replies, and X mentions with multiple participants, a Replying to bar appears above the reply box. Click it to select or deselect which users your reply is addressed to. Statusbrew sends the reply mentioning the selected users on X.
The Replying to bar is available on X replies and X mentions only. It is separate from the Select users to mention picker used on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

The AI Assistant lets you translate, rephrase, make your reply more concise, more friendly, more formal, expand, or fix grammar, with one click.
The Send DM Link (X only) adds a link in your reply that lets the user move the conversation to a direct message privately.

How To Mention A Teammate In An Internal Note?
You can mention your Statusbrew teammates in internal notes (which are never visible publicly). Click Add Note at the top right of the reply section to turn the reply box yellow and enter note mode. Type @ followed by a teammate's name or user group to notify them.

How To Reply Privately To A Comment?
Statusbrew supports private replies to Facebook and Instagram comments on organic posts and ad posts.
Open the Facebook or Instagram comment conversation.
Click (More) beside the comment.
Select Private reply from the pop-up menu.
Compose your reply (up to 1000 characters).
Click Send or Send and Close.
Private replies are allowed only once per comment and must be sent within 7 days of the original comment.

Can I Mention Someone In A Comment On Other Networks Like TikTok Or YouTube?
No. Mentioning users in replies is supported on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn via the Select users to mention picker, and on X via the Replying to bar. Other networks do not support mentioning users in replies due to API limitations.
Can I Type @ In The Reply Box To Mention Someone?
No. Typing @ directly in the reply box does not mention anyone, regardless of the network. Always use the Select users to mention picker above the reply box to mention a user.
Can I Mention A Teammate In A Public Reply?
No. Teammate @mentions work only in internal notes, which are never posted publicly. They're visible only to your team in Statusbrew.
Can I Send A Private Reply On Networks Other Than Facebook And Instagram?
No. Private replies are supported only on Facebook and Instagram.
Does Mentioning Someone In A Comment Notify Them?
Yes. Using the Select users to mention picker on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn works the same as natively mentioning a user; the mentioned user receives a notification. The same applies to X when you select users via the Replying to bar.
