How Can I Respond To Google My Business Reviews?

Responding to reviews on Google My Business helps build consumer trust and brand credibility, and improves your company's visibility in search engine results.

You can respond to your Google My Business reviews from Engage. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Google My Business review conversation you want to reply to. Use Team Inboxes or Create Views to locate the review quickly.

  2. Compose your reply (up to 4096 characters) in the reply box.

  3. Click Reply or Reply & Close.

As you reply, your responses will appear as a single-threaded conversation.

You can also do the following:

  • Select Emoji to reply with it

  • Open Macros to reply faster with pre-saved responses

  • Improve your reply with AI Assistant

  • Delete your response. Click (More) beside the response. Select Delete from the pop-up menu. After you delete the response, it will appear obscured with diagonal lines with Deleted message below it, letting you know it was deleted. Hovering over the message will display the name of the user who deleted the response, along with the date and time it was deleted.
