Bulk Actions On Conversations

Social can be really busy, and your inbox can be flooded with hundreds of conversations on a daily basis. Statusbrew's Engage inbox makes it easy to deal with multiple conversations all at once with Bulk Actions.

Using Bulk Actions in Engage, you can

  • Bulk-assign conversations to users/user groups

  • Move multiple conversations to suitable Inboxes

  • Close multiple conversations at once

  • Re-open multiple closed or snoozed conversations at once

Sorting Conversations for Bulk Actions

Firstly, you have to choose and open the conversations that you need to perform the bulk actions on. You can perform Bulk Actions on -

  1. All Conversations

  2. Assigned to me

  3. Shared with me

  4. Priority

  5. Views

  6. Team Inboxes

  7. Brand Keywords

    Conversations for Bulk Actions

For each of these inboxes, you can filter and sort the conversations based on -

I) Open, Closed, and Snoozed

Sorting according to - Open, Closed, and Snoozed.

To do this -

  • Go to Engage

  • Open the section you want to view and filter

  • Go to the top left of the Conversations list and click on the Open (11) drop-down (Conversations that are open will appear by default)

  • Now choose from among - Open, Closed and Snoozed

The selected type of conversations will be opened

II) Oldest and Newest

Sorting according to - Oldest and Newest

To do this -

  • Go to Engage

  • Open the section you want to view and filter

  • Go to the top right of the Conversations list and click on the Newest drop-down (Newest Conversations will appear by default)

  • Once you click on the Newest drop-down, the Oldest conversations will be opened (You simply have to click to rearrange the conversations)

  • To go back to the Newest Conversations, click on the Oldest drop-down in the top right of the conversations list

III) Date Selection

With the Date Selection filter in Engage Inbox, sorting & managing your conversations is easier than ever.

Using the date selector, you can view conversations updated in a particular date range. This provides you with a glance at the total number of conversations opened/closed for all the Inboxes within the selected range. You can either select from the available options or select a customized date range.

To do this -

  • Go to Engage

  • Open the section you want to view and filter

  • Go to the top right of the Conversations list and click on the Calendar Icon (30 day period will appear by default)

  • Choose from the options or customize the date range and click on Apply

How to Perform Bulk Actions on Conversations

To perform Bulk Actions on conversations,

  • From your Statusbrew Home, click on Engage

  • From the left nav, click on the desired conversation section to view the conversations

  • Hover over any conversation in the conversation list and click on the checkbox beside the conversations you want to select

    To select all the conversations at once, click on the checkbox in the top bar above the conversations or click on the Select all conversations button in the center of the screen

  • Now go to the center screen and choose the desired action from - Add to inbox, Assign Conversation or Close. For Add to inbox and assign conversation - a dialog box will appear and you can choose the desired option from the drop-down menu and click on Add

  • Similarly, if you've opened the Closed or Snoozed conversations, you can reopen the conversations following similar steps

You can select the Clear section button in the center screen to deselect the conversations
