A Google My Business (GMB) post is a feature that allows businesses to share updates, offers, events, and other relevant information directly on their Google Business Profile. These posts appear in Google Search and Maps, making them visible to potential customers when they search for your business or related products and services.

GMB posts are a vital part of local SEO and online visibility. They help you engage with customers at the moment they are searching for businesses like yours. By regularly posting on GMB, you can keep your audience informed, promote your offerings, and drive traffic to your website or physical location.

Scheduling GMB posts ensures that your content is consistently published at the right times, even when you're busy managing other aspects of your business. By planning your posts in advance, you can maintain a steady flow of content, keep your audience engaged, and avoid the last-minute rush to create updates.

For users, posting regularly on Google My Business can lead to several key benefits:

  • Increased Visibility: Regular updates keep your business active in search results and Maps, making it more likely for potential customers to find you.

  • Improved Engagement: GMB posts allow you to directly communicate with customers, share news, and promote offers, which can lead to higher engagement and more conversions.

  • Boosted Local SEO: Google rewards businesses that actively update their profiles, improving your chances of appearing in local search results.

How Do I Manage Google My Business Profiles With A Team?

Managing multiple Google My Business profiles across different locations can be challenging, especially with a team. Statusbrew's Planner helps simplify this process by allowing team members to collaborate easily. Here's how it works:

Your team can access the social media calendar in Planner to see what’s planned and what’s already published, including posts on other platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.

You can plan all your content in one place and schedule posts for different days. As your team creates posts, you can exchange feedback and approve them for publication.

Additionally, you can add watchers to each post, so others are notified when there’s an update or a comment is added.
