Schedule Retweet And Quoted Tweets

Learn how to schedule Retweets, Quoted Tweets, and Reply Tweets in Statusbrew. Easily add a Tweet link, select options, and control who can reply to your posts.

Retweets, Reply Tweets, and Quoted Tweets are powerful tools for amplifying content on Twitter. A Retweet is a repost of your own or someone else's tweet. A Quoted Tweet allows you to share a tweet with your own thoughts added. A Reply Tweet is a response to your own or another user's tweet. These features help expand your brand’s reach and increase engagement. By using them, you show your audience that their content matters, while also boosting visibility, attracting followers, and enhancing your brand's credibility.

How Do I Create Retweets, Reply Tweets And Quoted Tweets?

There are a few different ways you can schedule Quoted, Retweets and Reply Tweets from Statusbrew.

Using Compose

  • From your Statusbrew Home, click on Compose

  • Now click on the Add URL/link button & paste the link of the Tweet in the caption

The Composer will automatically detect the Tweet link

  • Under Twitter options, click on the attached Tweet dropdown to find the following options

  1. Quoted Tweet: Select this option to quote the tweet you have added in the caption

  2. Reply Tweet: Select this option to create a reply to the Tweet

  3. Retweet Tweet: Select this option to retweet the Tweet you have added in the caption

  • Who can reply to this tweet: Use this option to control who is allowed to reply to your Tweet. You can allow users to reply from the following three options:

  1. Everyone: Select this option to allow everyone to reply to your Tweet

  2. Only mentioned users: Select this option to allow only the users mentioned in the Tweet to reply

  3. People you follow: Select this option to allow the people you follow to reply to your Tweet

  • Save as Draft: It is a check box below the caption that you can check to save the post as a draft if you want to complete and schedule your post later

From Planner

You can now Retweet, Reply & Quote Tweet a published Twitter post directly from Statusbrew Planner.

  • From your Statusbrew Home, click on Planner

  • Click on any post to open the detailed view and click on the three dot menu

  • From the schedule repost option, you can retweet, quote the tweet, or Reply to tweet

If someone likes or Retweet your published Tweets, you can check that in the post’s detailed view. You will also be able to Unlike and Unretweet your post from the same place.

From Engage

You can now Retweet, Reply & Quote Tweet from your Engage Inbox as well.

  • From your Statusbrew Home, click on Engage

  • Filter the conversations for Twitter mentions by creating a separate view

  • Open the Tweet you want to Retweet, hover over the Tweet and click the three dots menu

  • From the Schedule repost option, you can create a Quoted tweet, Reply Tweet and Retweet

How Do I Schedule Retweet and Quoted Tweet?

After preparing your post in Composer, you can click the Choose Date & time button to select the publishing date and time of your post. And click on the Schedule or Send For Approval button.

You can also Retweet, Reply, or Quote scheduled Tweets that haven't been published yet. To do this, open your Content Editorial Calendar to view your scheduled posts. Use the three-dots menu in the detailed view of the post to choose a new schedule for the Retweet, Reply, or Quote Tweet, selecting a time ahead of the original schedule.
