Schedule Post Basics

Learn the fundamental steps to schedule your social media posts, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery across all platforms

Schedule TikTok Video

After your TikTok profile is connected to Statusbrew, you can start posting videos and captions. You can publish videos right away or schedule them for a specific day and time.

You can't record or create a TikTok video within Statusbrew. So, ensure you have your video file saved in a location, such as your system, Asset Manager, Google Drive, or Dropbox, where you can access it to post.

How To Schedule A TikTok Video?

  1. Go to Compose.

  2. Select a TikTok profile from the Profile Picker. You can't schedule for multiple TikTok profiles, as it violates their terms of service and privacy policy.

  3. Upload the video or image(s). You can upload up to 35 images or 1 video.

  4. Complete scheduling or publishing your video by selecting Choose date & time option and the Post Now or Schedule.

TikTok Options

  • Add a caption (up to 2,200 characters). You can also use Brew AI to write or refine the post caption.

  • Mark as AI-generated ("Mark this video as created or edited using AI tools"). Creators apply this label to indicate that their content was either completely generated or significantly edited by AI.

  • Allow duets, Allow stitches, and Allow comments are enabled by default. Uncheck any of them to turn off Duets, Stitches, or public comments on the post.

  • Add audio to your video (Images and Carousels are also supported). Open Add audio under TikTok options to search TikTok's trending music library and attach a track before you publish.

  • You can add Promotional Content labels:

    • Your brand: Enable this if the video promotes you or your own business. A 'Promotional content' label will appear on the video.

    • Branded Content: Enable this if the video is part of a paid partnership with a brand. A 'Paid partnership' label will appear on the video. After posting the video, open your TikTok mobile app and link the campaign under the video's Ad settings.

    • If you set both your brand and Branded Content to true, your brand will be ignored, and the video will be labeled as Branded Content.

  • Choose the Publishing Type:

    • Direct Publishing: You can directly publish to your TikTok profile via Statusbrew.

    • Publish via mobile reminders: You will get a reminder on your mobile device when it is time to publish the post. You can also select one or more users or user groups to send mobile reminders to. Only the selected users will receive a reminder on their mobile devices for this post when it is time to publish. If not selected, all users with publishing access will receive a reminder on their mobile devices about the post. When you tap the TikTok publishing notification, the app opens directly to your post, which is already stored as a draft.

  • Add a First Comment to add hashtags, links, or other additional information or extra details that may not fit in your post's caption.

  • Add Internal title up to 64 characters (will be used within Statusbrew).

  • Add Tags, Watchers, and Custom Fields.

  • Choose whom to share access with for the post.

  • Add post color.

FAQs

Open Add audio under TikTok options, search TikTok's trending music library, pick a track, set the Audio volume / Original video volume mix, and trim, then click Add audio. The track is applied when the video is published to TikTok. Learn more in How to Add Trending Audio to TikTok & Instagram Videos.

Why Couldn't I Find Relevant Suggestions While Mentioning Users and Adding Hashtags?

When adding hashtags and mentioning users, we cannot unfurl suggestions due to TikTok API limitations. Also, any hashtags or usernames added to the video caption will appear as plain text in the TikTok application.

What Are the Video Format and Size Requirements for TikTok?

Can I Add Audio to a TikTok Image or Carousel Post?

Yes. On TikTok, you can add audio to image and carousel posts, not just videos. Open Add audio, pick a track, and set the same options as you would for a video. This applies to TikTok only.
