Schedule X/Twitter Polls

Twitter/X Polls helps you to engage with your audience, collect their opinions/feedback, and encourage interactions.

Note: If a media or link is added to a X post, a poll cannot be created.

Prerequisites

To schedule an X Poll, you must first connect your X Profile to Statusbrew. Only connected profiles will appear in the Compose window for poll creation and scheduling.

Note: An X poll can only be posted/scheduled for one profile at a time.

  2. Select an X Profile.

  3. Add the poll question in the caption (up to 280 characters).

  4. Open X by clicking and click Add a poll.

  5. Add Choice 1 and Choice 2 (up to 25 characters)

  6. Choose the desired Date and time option and press the Post Now or Schedule button. Learn how to select the right posting time.

Limitations Of X Polls

While X Polls are a great way to boost engagement, there are a few limitations to keep in mind:

  • Up to 4 answer options: You can’t add more than four choices to any poll.

  • Limited poll length range: Polls must run for at least 5 minutes and no more than 7 days

  • Not eligible for promotion: Polls can’t be boosted or used as part of Twitter/X ads or sponsored posts.

  • Limited results visibility: You can see the total number of votes and engagement, but detailed insights about individual voters aren’t provided.
