Add Branded Content Tag For Facebook Verified Pages

Branded content refers to any post or media where a creator or publisher receives compensation — either monetary or in another form of value — from a brand or business partner.

  • Creators include celebrities, influencers, or public figures who share branded content.

  • Publishers refer to media organizations or entities that distribute branded content.

  • Business partners are brands, advertisers, marketers, or sponsors that collaborate or provide compensation for branded content.

When sharing branded content on Facebook, creators are required to tag the brand or business partner — regardless of whether the post is made from a creator, business, or personal account.

Meta’s policies require that any exchange of value between a creator or publisher and a business partner must be transparently disclosed by tagging the partner in the post.

Your Facebook Page needs to be whitelisted if you want to use this feature. Learn how to apply for whitelisting here.

Pages that create or share branded content must comply with Facebook’s branded content policy
