Link Presets

Statusbrew's Campaign URL Builder lets you effortlessly add UTM parameters in the Statusbrew Compose window. You can include custom parameters based on your tracking requirements, as well as the default parameters such as campaign name, source, and medium.

With our link presets feature, you need not add the UTM parameters each time, you can create templates beforehand and add the presets with a single click. It also offers the flexibility to make changes and customize your parameters.

To create Link Presets -

  • Go to Settings from the left nav and click on Link Presets

  • A list of al the active link presets will open. Now click on Add link preset button in the top right corner

  • Add a Name and tracing parameters for the new link preset

  • You can select from the existing parameters or choose to add a custom parameter. There are 5 parameters you can add to your URLs - Campaign, Source, Medium, Term, and Content. For these parameters, you can choose to select a Value from among Social, Social Network, Profile Name, Profile Username, and Tags, or you can choose to customize the value.

  • Now click on Save to activate your link preset

While creating a post, go to Campaign URL Builder and click on Add campaign parameters. Now you can choose a link preset and manage presets or edit the parameters as per your desire.

You can edit, archive or set the link presets as default. To do this -

You can edit and make changes to your link presets anytime. To do so -

  • Go to Link Presets from the Settings

  • Click on the three dots beside the preset that you want to edit

  • Click on edit

  • Now you can make all the desired changes. You can edit the name, Add and remove tracking parameters and also edit the existing ones

  • Once all the desired changes are done, click on Save to update the link preset

If you set a link preset as default, it will be automatically applied to all the posts that you'll create. While creating a post, you can either select another preset or edit the default one for the particular post.

Edit or Change the default preset in Compose -

  • Create your post. The default preset will be automatically added once you add a link

  • Go to the campaign URL Builder section and click on edit

  • Now you can either select another link preset from the drop-down or you can edit the tracking parameters of the default link preset for this particular post

If you want to update the default preset for all the posts or make changes in the existing one - Go to the Link Presets window and edit the desired preset.

To set a link preset as default -

  • Go to Link Presets from Settings

  • Click on the three dots beside the preset that you want to set as the default

  • Now select the Set as default option

If you already have a default link preset and you set another preset as default, the previous one will be automatically deselected as default

To remove a link preset from default, follow the same steps, click on three dots beside the preset, and click on Remove as default Option

If you no longer need a link preset, you can archive the link preset. To do so -

  • Go to Link Presets from the Settings Click on the three dots beside the preset that you want to edit Click on Archive

The link preset is archived.

You can access the Archived Presets at the bottom of the Link presets list. They are below the Active Link Presets.

You can unarchive the archived link presets by -

  • Go to Link Presets from the Settings

  • Go to the bottom and click on the drop-down of Archived Presets

  • Click on the three dots beside the preset that you want to unarchive

  • Click on Activate

Your link preset is activated.
