How Can I Reply To Comments & Messages In Statusbrew Mobile App?
With the Statusbrew Companion app, managing conversations and engaging with your audience on the go has never been easier. Whether it’s responding to comments on your posts or replying to direct messages across different social networks, you can do it all from the app.
Open The Engage Inbox
Open the Statusbrew Companion app on your Android or iOS device.
From the bottom bar, tap Engage to access your social inbox.
The Engage inbox consolidates all supported conversations across multiple connected social profiles, making it easy to manage them from one place.
By default, when you open the Statusbrew Companion app, the All Inbox in Engage opens up with Open conversations sorted by Newest.
To switch the inbox or open a View, Team Inbox, or Brand Keywords Inbox, tap at the top left corner.
Filter Conversations
You can filter conversations based on their state and sort conversations in a list.
By default, all Open conversations of any inbox open up and are sorted by Newest.
You can change it by tapping on Open and choosing from Open, Close, or Snoozed.
Tap Newest to sort conversations by:
Newest
Oldest
Recently replied
Waiting longest
Priority first
Replying To Conversations
Tap on a conversation to open it. You can also scroll through the message history to view previous interactions with the user.
Compose your reply in the reply box and tap to post the reply.
Select the user(s) you want to mention. You can select the profile you want to respond from (X only). For X, you also have the Send DM link button, tapping on which will let you add a Direct Message link to your reply for private conversations.
Add Macros
Tap to open the Macros list. Select macros from the list to add them to the reply box. You can enter a keyword in the Search box to search for and select a macro.
Use AI Assistant
You can use the AI Assistant to refine or improve your reply. Type your message in the reply box and then tap to open the AI Assistant. Tap on the appropriate option. The AI will return the response. To accept the response, tap Update; otherwise, tap Cancel to discard the response.
Add Notes
Tap Add note at the top of reply box.
Write your note and tap to add the note in the conversation thread.
You can also tag users in notes. Type @ followed by the name of the user. As you type the user’s name, you will also see a list of suggestions at the top. Tap on the appropriate suggestion to add it.
Tap Public reply to close the notes box.
Add Media
Depending on the conversation type, you can also add media to your reply.
Tap , and you will get the following options to add media to your reply.
Image upload: Select an image from your device storage to upload & tap Select to add the selected image.
Video upload: Select a video from your device storage to upload & tap Select to add the selected image.
Free images: Search and add images from a library of free stock images. Statusbrew integrates with Unsplash and Pixabay to search, browse, and use free photos directly in your reply.
From the Source dropdown, choose either Unsplash or Pixabay. Unsplash is selected by default.
In the search box, type a keyword related to the image you want.
Browse through the results and tap on an image to select it.
Tap Select to add the selected image.
Giphy: Browse and add GIFs directly from Giphy.
In the search box, type a keyword (e.g., cat) to find a relevant GIF.
Browse the results and tap to select your preferred GIF.
Tap Select to insert the selected GIF.
Asset manager: Select from your library of saved media assets in Statusbrew & tap Select to add the selected media.
Open or Close Conversations
At the top of open conversations, you will be able to view the Close button. You can tap on it to close the conversation.
Similarly, tap Open at the top of any closed conversation to open it.
You will also see the option to open a conversation at the top of snoozed conversations.
Conversation Actions
Tap at the top right corner to access the following conversation actions
Snooze
If you need to return to a conversation later, you can snooze it. This temporarily removes it from your conversation list for a time period you choose.
Choose from preset time periods like Later today, Tomorrow, Monday, One week, One month or set a custom time.
Assign conversation
Assign a conversation to specific users or user groups so that the right team members handle relevant conversations.
Move to inbox
Manually move a conversation from its current inbox to another relevant team inbox.
Sentiments
You can manually change the sentiment of a conversation if the auto-detected sentiment doesn’t match the actual tone or context of the message.
Generate summary
To summarize a long conversation using AI. Once a summary is generated, you can Refresh summary (to regenerate if you are satisfied) or Copy to clipboard (to share).
Priority
Mark urgent conversations as a priority to ensure they receive immediate attention. Conversation marked as a priority will appear as Priority option in Conversation actions list.
Copy conversation link
Copy a direct link to the conversation. You can share this link with your teammates for quick access to the conversation without needing to search for it manually.
Message Actions
When you long-press a message in conversation detail, you will be able to view message-specific actions
Copy text
Copy the text of the message to the clipboard to paste it into replies, notes, or any external place for reference.
Like
React to a message by liking it.
Hide
Hide a comment from public view. If a message is hidden, you will see a Hidden message below it.
Show
Unhide a previously hidden comment
Translate
Translate the selected message into your preferred language. This is particularly helpful for teams managing multi-language audiences across regions.
Reply privately
Send a private reply to the author of a public comment on Messenger. You can send private reply to Facebook & Instagram comments and ad comments.
Note: Due to Facebook's policies, you can privately reply to a comment or a visitor post on your page within 7 days of the message being received.
Tags
Add tags to a specific message to categorize them for reporting, tracking, or filtering.
Sentiments
Manually change the sentiment of the message if the auto-detected one doesn’t accurately reflect the context.
View external
Opens the message directly on the native social platform
Delete
Delete the message. Use this option carefully, as deleted messages cannot be recovered. You can also choose to delete the message content from Statusbrew to prevent the unnecessary retention of sensitive or irrelevant messages inside your workspace if your account is HIPAA compliant. If a message is deleted, you will see a Deleted message below it.
Note: Hide, Unhide, Delete, Reply Privately, Like, selecting users to mention, adding media in reply are network-specific actions and are not available for all supported conversation types.
