FAQs

Can I report only on YouTube Shorts or exclude Shorts from a report?

Statusbrew does not currently have a separate Post Type = Shorts filter for YouTube reports.

Statusbrew considers any YouTube video under 3 minutes as a YouTube Short, but in reporting, Shorts are still treated as regular YouTube video posts.

To report only on Shorts, tag those YouTube Shorts and apply that tag as a filter at the report or widget level. To exclude Shorts, tag those YouTube Shorts and exclude that tag from the report or widget.

For example, if you want to create a Top Shorts report, create a YouTube post performance widget and filter it by the tag you use for Shorts. This will show performance only for the posts tagged as Shorts.
