No Results For My Keyword Search
If you're experiencing issues with setting up brand keywords in the Engage inbox, it could be because too many keywords and operators are combined in a single search.
In rare cases, you may not see results from your keyword search when using Brand Keywords in Engage. This typically happens if your search string is too complex, combining too many keywords and Twitter search operators. Twitter may limit such searches due to complexity.
What To Do?
Simplify the search string: Reduce the number of keywords/operators to lower complexity or specificity.
Break down the search: Divide your query into smaller ones and use Engage filters to combine the incoming conversations.
Check Ignore Keywords: If you've added certain keywords in the "Ignore Keywords" field, try removing them, as Twitter might flag these as errors.
Check on the native network: Double-check the search query on Twitter/X to ensure there are recent messages within the last 7 days.
We backfill data for the last 30 days, so if there are no results related to your search query within that timeframe, your inbox will appear empty.
