In April, we’ve rolled out updates across reporting, planning, collaboration, and content management.

From grouped posts to smarter previews, guest user controls and web listening, everything’s built to help you work cleaner and faster.

Custom Fields

  • You can now create, edit, and delete Custom Fields directly from Publish, Engage, or Contacts—right where you're working.

  • If you need to change a label or add another option to a field like Campaigns or Conversation Type, you can do it on the spot—no need to switch to Settings.

  • This makes it easier to keep your fields relevant and your workflows smooth.

Want to power up your workflows? Our Custom Fields guide shows you how.

Color Attribution - Compose

  • You can now assign a color to your posts while composing them.

  • When the same post is published across different social networks, the color stays consistent—making it easier to identify and manage grouped posts in the Planner view.

  • It’s a simple way to keep your calendar organized, especially when working across multiple channels.

Social Network Tabs - Compose

  • When you’re creating a post for multiple social networks, switching tabs is now smarter.

  • In the Global tab, you’ll see previews for all selected channels.

  • But when you switch to a specific network tab—like Instagram—you’ll now jump directly to that network’s preview, so you can focus on how the post looks for that platform.

  • It makes editing and previewing across channels faster and more intuitive.

Grouped Posts - Planner

  • Posts created together are now automatically grouped.

  • You can still edit individual posts in Compose as usual.

  • In Planner, with grouped posts—you can select, detach, or delete when needed.

  • When you click "Delete all group posts", a dialog will show all posts in the group first—so you don’t accidentally delete something you didn’t intend to.

  • You can detach a single post from a group using the "Remove from group" option.

  • We’re working on adding an "Edit all group posts" option so you can update common properties across grouped posts in one go.

Notifications - Guest Users

  • Guest users added to an approval workflow can now be tagged in post comments.

  • Tagging them sends an email notification with the post and comment, so they can review and reply—no login needed.

  • You can also add external users as watchers to keep them in the loop and ensure they stay notified of updates.

We’ve put together a simple guide on how notifications work for external users. If you’re working with guest approvers, it’s worth a quick read.

Guest Users - Setting

  • External approvers are automatically added as guest users in Statusbrew.

  • There’s a new Guest Users tab under Settings > Users.

  • From here, you can remove, or even upgrade a guest to a full user with a click.

  • Guest users can’t edit anything—they’re only there to review and approve when needed.

External Approvers - Planner

  • With External Approvers, your clients can be directly included in approval workflows.

  • They receive email notifications, have a dedicated area to review content, and can easily approve/reject posts.

  • It removes the need for back-and-forth and keeps the approval process smooth.

Web Mentions - Engage

  • You can now track brand mentions from news articles and blogs directly in Engage using Web Mentions.

  • For example, add a keyword like “Brewcrew collection” Keywords.

  • It’ll show up as a new inbox so you can track and manage web mentions alongside your social messages.

  • We’re unifying the way media is handled in Statusbrew.

  • Need a different title for a specific channel? You can still change it later when editing network-specific posts.

Tags Scope

  • You can now assign scopes to tags: Publish, Engage, and Contacts

  • Tags will only appear in the areas they’re scoped to—helping you stay focused and organized

  • Choose one, multiple, or all scopes based on how and where you want to use the tag

  • Example: Use “Campaign- Spring Sale” only in Publish, “High Priority” in Engage, and “Leads” in Contacts
