My Facebook Post Are Getting Duplicated

Some Facebook posts published through Statusbrew may appear twice in your Planner. This happens due to the way Meta currently distributes and surfaces posts on its platform.

Why This Happens?

This behavior is caused by a recent change introduced by Meta (Facebook).

For instance, when you publish a Reel to Facebook, Meta automatically duplicates the same post to the “Videos” tab on your Facebook Page in addition to the “Reels” section.

As a result, Statusbrew syncs both posts (the original Reel and the duplicate Video) and shows them as two separate posts in your Planner.

If Meta continues duplicating Reels in this manner, Statusbrew may introduce a merge or filter mechanism in upcoming updates to automatically handle these duplicates.
