Instagram Notification Troubleshooting
If you wish to schedule more than one photo or video (carousel posts) or Instagram Stories, you'll publish them via push notifications from your Statusbrew mobile app. You will receive a notification on the Statusbrew mobile app (iOS/Android) when your carousel or story is ready to be published.
This mobile notification is automatically pushed to all the team members with Full Publishing Access permission for that Instagram profile. Find more details on the process of Instagram Publishing here.
Make sure that you are logged in to the Statusbrew mobile app. If in case you experience issues in receiving notifications, go through the following troubleshooting steps:
Troubleshoot Using Test Notification
Check if you are able to receive a test notification on your device. To do so,
For Android devices:
Open the Statusbrew app and go to Settings from the lower right corner of your screen
Under account settings, select Notifications
Click on the option Test Notification
If your device is able to receive notifications, you will get a Success message!
For iOS devices:
Open the Statusbrew app and click on the Settings icon from the top left corner of your screen
Under Account, select Notifications
Click on the option Test Notification
If your device is able to receive notifications, you will get a Success message!
If in case, somehow you miss an Instagram Publishing Notification on your Statusbrew mobile app, you can always choose to resend it.
To do so, you can either click on the re-send notification button from Statusbrew's Planner in the web app. Or, filter the published posts in the mobile app > click on the three-dot menu beside the published IG post for which you did not receive a notification > click on Repost
Still Unable To Receive Notifications?
If you are still not receiving any notification from Statusbrew, check for any device settings that might be blocking it:
Ensure notifications for the app are enabled in your device settings as well
Ensure notifications are not set to 'hidden' on your device's lock screen
Do not disturb mode will block push notifications. Also, other energy-saving applications or device settings can prevent notifications from being pushed out to your mobile properly
