How Can I Respond To TikTok Comments?

Responding to TikTok comments is essential for building a strong community, boosting engagement, and increasing your video's visibility. With Statusbrew Engage, you can manage and reply to comments across multiple TikTok accounts from one centralized platform. Here’s how:

  1. Open the TikTok comment conversation you want to reply to. Use Team Inboxes or Create Views to locate the comment quickly.

  2. Compose your reply (up to 1200 characters)

  3. Click Reply or Reply & Close.

Organic TikTok comments support replies of up to 1,200 characters, while TikTok ad comments are limited to 150 characters due to official TikTok API limitations.

As you reply, your responses appear as a single-threaded conversation.

You can also do the following:

  • Select Emoji to reply with it

  • Attach an image to your reply. You can add one JPG, PNG, or WebP image to replies on organic TikTok comments.

  • Open Macros to reply faster with pre-saved responses

  • Improve your reply with AI Assistant

Hiding Comment

  • Hover over the comment and click (More).

  • Select Hide from the pop-up menu.

  • After you hide the comment, it will appear blurred with Hidden message below it, letting you know it was hidden.

  • Hovering over the message will display the name of the user who hid the comment, along with the date and time it was hidden.

Unhiding Comment

  • Hover over the hidden comment and click [[ic:more-horiz] (More).

  • Select Show from the pop-up menu.

  • The comment will reappear and become unblurred.

Deleting Comment

  • Hover over the comment and click (More).

  • Select Delete from the pop-up menu.

  • Confirm your action.

  • The message content will appear obscured with diagonal lines.

  • A Deleted message will be displayed below the delete comment, letting you know it was deleted. Hovering over the message will display the name of the user who deleted the comment, along with the date and time it was deleted.

Like Message

  • Hover over the comment and click (Like) from the menu bar.

  • A highlighted like icon will appear below the message.

  • Click on the icon to unlike it.

Can I Reply to TikTok Comments With an Image?

Yes. When replying to a comment on your own organic TikTok video, you can attach one image per reply. Supported formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP.

Image replies are not supported for TikTok ad comments.

Can I See Photo Comments From TikTok Users in Engage?

Yes. Photo comments left by TikTok users on your videos are displayed directly in Statusbrew Engage, so you can view the image along with the conversation.
