Media And Digital Asset Storage

Connect your Dropbox, Canva, and Google Drive to import assets into Statusbrew for content scheduling

Canva Integration

Add images you design in Canva straight from Compose, with no downloading and re-uploading files. Open the Canva editor inside Statusbrew to build a fresh, on-brand visual or pull in a design you already made, then drop it right into your post.

What You Can Do With Canva

  • Design in Compose: create visuals without leaving Statusbrew or switching tabs.

  • Use network-ready templates: Statusbrew preselects the right size for the network you are posting to, so your posts look right everywhere.

  • Import existing designs: pull approved creatives from your Canva folders with no downloading or re-uploading.

  • Refine before posting: tweak your Canva visual in Statusbrew's built-in image editor.

Who Can Do This

The Canva integration is available on the Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans.

How to Add a Canva Design to Your Post

Head to Compose, pick your profiles, and open the Canva editor from the Media section. To add a Canva design:

  • Go to Compose.

  • Select the profiles you want to post to from the Profile Picker.

  • Write your caption and set any network-specific options.

  • In the Media section, click Browse optionsDesign with Canva.

  • Choose a template size. Statusbrew preselects the right size for the network you are posting to, or pick Custom Size (see Canva Template Sizes below). The Canva editor opens.

  • The first time you use Canva here, sign up for a free Canva account or log in to an existing one.

  • Build your design from a template, pick an existing design from your Canva folders, or upload a file from your device to edit.

  • Click Return to Statusbrew Compose (top right of the Canva editor). Your design drops into Compose, ready to post.

Note: Files you create with Canva inside Statusbrew are not saved to your Canva account. Only designs made directly in Canva's own app are stored there.

Heads up: If you close Canva without clicking Return to Statusbrew Compose, your design is discarded. Nothing is saved.

How to Edit a Canva Image

Once your design is in Compose, hover over it for two options:

  • Edit options: opens the media editor. Add alt text and, for Facebook, a description. Click Edit image to open Statusbrew's built-in image editor, where you can crop or change ratios, add filters, or add text. Click EXPORT IMAGE to save your changes, or Close to discard them.

  • Remove: deletes the design from your post.

Alt text is supported on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Google Business, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, and TikTok. Description is supported on Facebook only.

How to Generate Alt Text With AI

  • Hover over the image and click Edit options.

  • Click Generate using AI. The alt text appears in a few seconds.

  • Review and tweak it, or click Generate using AI again to regenerate. Changes save automatically.
