Magic Link Sign-in On Statusbrew Mobile Apps

There are times when it's tough to remember the password of the application you wish to log in to, and we now have dozens of apps on our phones. Since writing down your passwords in your notes is often insecure, we have a great solution to this - Magic Link, available for both iOS and Android.

For Magic link to work, you need to have an email address registered to your Statusbrew account.

Magic link sign-in is a simple 2-step method to sign in to the Statusbrew mobile apps. It is an easy, fast and secure way for users to sign in without the need to remember their passwords.

  • Each magic link is unique and can be used only once till it expires

  • Each link is valid for up to 24 hours. After it expires unused, you need to request a new link to sign-in

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Request Magic Link

  1. Open the Statusbrew app and head to the login screen where you are asked to enter the email address which is already registered with your account. Now, press the Sign in with Email button

  2. On the next screen, tap on Send Magic Link

  3. Your Magic link has now been sent to the registered email address. For the next step, you’ll need to go to your mailbox

Step 2: Authenticate

  1. Open the mail you received from support@statusbrew.com with the subject as [Statusbrew] Magic Link for quick Sign-in. Tap on the ‘Sign in to Statusbrew’ button in the mail. Alternatively, you can copy/paste the link below the button into your mobile browser as well

  2. You will then be directed to an authentication page on the mobile web browser where our system runs security protocols and verifies that the email & the magic link used to sign in is valid

  3. Once authenticated, you’ll be prompted to Launch Statusbrew which would direct you to the application's dashboard
