Facebook API Metrics Deprecations: April 2024

Facebook recently deprecated several Page-level API metrics as they migrated from Classic Pages to new Page experience. With these deprecations, you will notice changes in metric breakdown and calculations when creating Facebook page-based reports within Statusbrew.

Effects On Facebook Reports In Statusbrew

• The breakdown of Facebook fans or audiences by age and gender will no longer be available

• The process of calculating Page shares and comments has changed as we can no longer fetch these metrics natively via Facebook API. Now, we will record daily snapshots of these metrics from all the Facebook page posts

• All other metrics previously available in reports will remain intact
